Barretto family marks first death anniversary of Miguel Barretto

Marjorie Barretto took to social media to mark the first death anniversary of her father Miguel Barretto.

On Instagram, the celebrity mom asked her friends and family to offer a prayer for her father, who died last year at the age of 82.

“One year in between today. I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU, Dad. I’m missing you too much. Please say a prayer for him. May he always be remembered as a wonderful man. One of a kind,” she wrote.

Meanwhile, her eldest daughter Dani wrote about how one year without her grandfather felt.

“One year without you. One year without your warm hugs, your corny jokes, and that smile. The smile that makes everything better. I miss you so much, Pikey,” she said on Instagram.

Marjorie’s younger kids, Claudia and Leon both shared a photo of their late grandfather on their Instagram stories.

“One year in heaven. Missing you so much Pike. I hope you are enjoying paradise up there, guardian angel,” 17-year-old Leon said.

The death of the Barretto patriarch was controversial after Marjorie and her sister Gretchen, along with their other family members, had a violent confrontation at the wake of their father.
