Maine Mendoza ‘deeply saddened’ after NY internship home razed by fire

Maine Mendoza looked back on her internship memories back in 2014 after hearing news that her internship home in New York burned down.

Back in her college days, the actress spent six months living at the second floor apartment of Lakeside Lodge and Grille, which burned down just yesterday.

“This is so sad!!! Lakeside Lodge and Grille was a home for FIlipino interns back in 2014. We lived here for 6 months! (Apartments on the second floor.)

“I am deeply saddened by this. Internship memories in this place will never be forgotten. Good time, good times,” she wrote on Twitter.

Before her big break as “Yaya Dub” in noontime variety show Eat Bulaga’s Kalyeserye, Maine was a student at the De La Salle University – College of Saint Benilde, where she graduated with a degree in culinary arts.
