JM de Guzman shows how he copes with his panic disorder

JM de Guzman showed what it’s like to have panic disorder and how he deals with it. The actor managed to capture the moment of his panic attack on video in hopes of making others who can relate to him not feel alone.

The Pamilya Ko star shared with his two million followers on Instagram how he coped with a panic attack that interrupted his sleep.

“This is what my panic disorder looks like 4:00 am middle of a good sleep. Intense waves of emotion. Rapid heart beat that’ll make you feel you are about to pass out or die,” he said in his post.

JM shared that he uses ice to slow down his heartbeat and to help with feeling his face because his body is numb.

“This maybe caused by a painful trauma in the past. I managed to record this because somehow I’m learning to cope with it and just hoping others might relate and to let you know you’re not alone,” he said.

To his followers who might be experiencing the same, he encouraged to put ice on their face, head, hand and body for their panic attack to subside.

“Just pray and deep breaths and make the people around you understand ur condition tell them to stop asking questions and just be there so the attack will subside quicker rather than triggered,” JM further advised.
