‘Let us continue to fight’: Bea Alonzo helps raise over P6M for frontliners

The I Am Hope Org charity drive led by Bea Alonzo and her friends Rina Navarro, Vhong Navarro, Tricia Canilao and May Militante raised over P6,036,000 for the benefit of healthcare workers and communities in need.

In an Instagram post on Saturday, Alonzo thanked those who have donated and impacted the lives of many.

“It is through donors like you that WE are able to continue our mission of helping our Frontliners, Healthy Workers and Communities. Your donations helped the following Beneficiaries and impacted many lives through I am HOPE,” she wrote.

In just a month, their group was able to reach out to 27 hospitals and 17 communities.

On Sunday, the I Am Hope team brought another batch of medical supplies to Leyte.

Alonzo has also been preparing batches of meals to frontliners at different hospitals. A week ago, the actress shared that she’s starting to get fond of cooking meals in big batches.

“May nahanap na yata akong bagong career,” she joked as she featured her bagoong rice for the healthcare workers of the National Institute of Health University of the Philippines (UP NIH).
