WATCH: UST Singers alumni from all over the world dedicate song to healthcare workers

University of Santo Tomas Singers’ alumni virtually assembled to pay tribute to the healthcare workers in the frontlines of the battle against COVID-19. Almost a hundred voices were recorded to sing Isang Dugo, Isang Lahi, Isang Musika.

Their post read: “A symphony of almost 100 voices individually recorded using smartphones and tablets, each track was blended together with the help of today’s modern-day sound technology. It pays tribute to the true heroes in the frontlines who selflessly put their lives at risk as humanity battles the novel disease and aims to provide a message of hope to those who silently bear the weight of loneliness and solitude in the midst of a lockdown.”

Featured in the video are some the UST singers who are also frontliners in different countries.
