Veteran actress Teresa Loyzaga showed support for her son Diego’s new relationship with actress Barbie Imperial.
Diego recently shared a sweet photo of him with Barbie on Instagram thanking her for “making the end of my 2020” a memorable one.
The celebrity couple instantly received words of congratulations in the comments section from their fellow celebrities and friends.
Diego’s mother, on the other hand, commented: “Happy looks good on both of you.”
Days after, Barbie also posted her “favorite photo” of them together and opened up about her relationship with Diego.
“Totally unexpected to fall for someone I thought I’d be just friends with forever but I’m really happy to have found both love & friendship with this one,” Barbie wrote in an Instagram post.
She added, “Thank you for making me happy & feel loved. Thank you for everything that you do to make me feel the love I deserve. So thankful for you, thank God for you.”
To which Teresa also left a comment wherein she shared her love advice for the two.
“Love each other. Respect each other. Protect each other. Speak kind words to each other. Speak kind words of each other. Be happy. You both deserve it,” she said.
In a Magandang Buhay interview, Teresa shared that she’s okay with his son dating again as long as he’s respectful, responsible and knows how to balance everything.
“I want the best for my son, for my children. So, kung saan masaya ‘yung anak ko, doon ako,” she said.
