LOOK: ‘Malambing’ cat helps look after baby boy while parents are away

This mom was surprised and touched to see photos of their pet cat looking after their three-month-old baby boy while she and her husband were not at home.

Joey Mansalungan, a proud furmom from Imus, Cavite, told STAR’s Latestchika.com the photos were taken when she and husband Mark Anthony went out to buy the needs of their son Cael, leaving him under the care of his older sibling and grandmother.

When they returned home, Joey’s 12-year-old daughter Sodina proudly showed them the adorable photos she took of baby Cael and their cat named Keanu.

In the pictures, Keanu was seen being affectionate to baby Cael, and seemingly guarding him while he was asleep.

Keanu was also captured holding the pacifier for Cael in one photo.

Joey shared the photos of the tender moment between her baby and furbaby in a Facebook page for cats and dogs, which easily won the hearts of netizens and went viral online.

Joey related that their furbabies are especially sweet to people they know.

They currently have eight furbabies after Keanu’s Siamese mom Jinju recently gave birth to six kittens.

Joey said she decided to share the photos to bring good vibes to people amid these difficult times.
