“Donate by just watching this video.”

Donnalyn Bartolome who recently bought rescue boats will be donating the earnings from her most recent vlog to the victims of Typhoon Ulysses.

The singer-vlogger on Friday released a video titled “The Super Typhoon that beat Ondoy?” on her YouTube channel, earnings of which will be used to buy relief goods for distribution in typhoon-hit areas Marikina, Rizal, Parañaque, Bicol, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes and Tarlac.

The nine-minute vlog showed the situation of the affected areas in Marikina and a “little typhoon adventure”.

“After my post about the boats, I received calls from the officials, friends, and family encouraging and offering service and donations for my next drive,” wrote Donnalyn in her vlog.

Donnalyn also said that her purchase of boats also “sparked inspiration” among co-vloggers and artists to help in their own way.

She also asked people not to pressure vloggers to help “just ’cause you’ve seen one or two helped.”

“It is not their obligation… most of them are fending for not just their family, but also their employees. I know the feeling. I’m just lucky vlogging is not my only source of income. Be considerate. We all got bills to pay,” she added.
