Enchong Dee urges colleagues to speak up for embattled home network

Enchong Dee is urging his fellow Kapamilya artists to speak up on ABS-CBN’s franchise denial.

The actor has reaffirmed his support to his home network in an Instagram post on Tuesday, following the Congress’ decision to reject the broadcast giant’s franchise bid last July 10.

Despite the “uncertainties,” Enchong has vowed to continue the battle for his “home” and to speak out against the “evil” that surrounds it.

“I’ve been fighting for my country since I was 13. Hindi madali at walang kasiguraduhan pero masarap sa puso. I will do the same for the company which I called home for 15 years. Hindi ako titigil sa pananalita laban sa kasamaan na pumapaligid satin,” he wrote in the caption.

He added, “Being bashed is a small price to pay to be in the right side of history.”

Enchong then called for the support of his colleagues to join the fight and use their influence.

“Sa mga kasamahan ko sa ABS-CBN, kasama nyo ko hanggang muling magbukas ang tahanan natin. At sa mga kapwa ko artista, hindi ito ang oras para manahimik, maging totoo tayo sa salitang #kapamilya. ❤️????.”

The 31-year-old actor recently lambasted Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque for telling the critics to “move on” from the non-renewal of the ABS-CBN franchise.
