Bela Padilla, Phl army distribute relief goods to Pinoys affected by community quarantine

Bela Padilla has started distributing relief goods to the less fortunate adversely affected by the imposed community quarantine to combat the coronavirus spread in the country.

After raising over P3 million from her online fund drive dubbed Pagkain Para sa Pinoy, the Kapamilya actress was joined by some members of the Philippine Army in the distribution of food and relief goods to people in Manila City on Thursday.

The Kapamilya star has also been retweeting other charity drives from netizens in an effort to extend help to others in need of assistance.

Her act of kindness was lauded by netizens.

The crowdfunding Bela launched earlier this week was set at P1 million but made a huge jump after an anonymous person donated P2 million on Wednesday.

She set up the account via a GoGetFunding page to aid “Filipinos who won’t be able to rely on their normal sources of income.”
