Teachers come together to accompany nursing student after his parents couldn’t make it during the capping and pinning ceremony

This story yet again proves that our teachers and professors are indeed our second parents!

In a viral TikTok video, nursing student Angelo Acosta Yutuc shared how his teachers joined him on stage during the capping and pinning ceremony last August 6, 2024, after his parents couldn’t make it to the event.

Napapaluha na po ako sa part na ‘yan,” he narrated what happened during the event.

According to him, it was his parents’ first time missing an academic event. For Angelo, he totally understands why his parents weren’t there on his special milestone as a student.

Angelo is currently a nursing student at the Our Lady of Fatima University-Pampanga Campus.

He expressed gratitude to his mentors for accompanying him in his newest academic achievement.

“It made me feel that I’m not alone po. Lalo na nung first year.Thank you po sa pag-ano po sa akin nung capping and pinning. Kahit wala po akong parents, sinamahan n’yo po ako sa stage,” he said.

As of this writing, the post has garnered more than 259,000 views. Netizens were also quick to react on the heartwarming moment.

“Congratulations! We are all rooting for you!” a netizen said.

“Sa parents mo, it must be very hard for them not to see your milestones pero kaya mo ‘yan! Kunars! 💘” another commented.
