Singer-songwriter mrld is set to hold her first solo concert at SM Skydome on April 27, 2025.
Titled “mrld 7th Sense,” the show will be produced by OC Records, the record label and talent management company led by artist couple Kean Cipriano and Chynna Ortaleza.
The concert will serve as a live showcase for her highly anticipated debut album, “7th Sense,” which is set for release on March 7, 2025—a little over a month before the major event.
When asked about the inspiration behind the album title, the 20-year-old Cebuana artist explained, “Typically, there are five senses, with common sense being the sixth. I named it ‘7th Sense’ because these songs capture emotions that can’t be fully explained through the first five senses. It’s a mix of everything.”
mrld remains one of the most streamed female OPM artists on Spotify, boasting over 4 million monthly listeners. Her catalog includes several hit tracks:
- “An Art Gallery Could Never Be As Unique As You” – over 190 million streams
- “Ligaya” – over 135 million streams
- “Ikaw Pa Rin” – over 106 million streams
- “Sandali” (viral hit released last year) – nearly 60 million streams
Beyond her digital success, mrld has also made a mark on the international stage. In May 2024, she represented the Philippines at the CONNX Off The Weekend Festival in Malang, Indonesia, as the sole Filipina act in the lineup.
Her rising prominence in the industry was further solidified in 2023 when she was named Spotify RADAR Artist of the Year.
With her first solo concert and debut album on the horizon, 2025 is shaping up to be a milestone year for mrld.
