
Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino’s highly-anticipated romantic-comedy film “My Love Will Make You Disappear” is set for a worldwide release in 34 countries.
On Thursday, Kim took to Instagram to share her excitement, thanking Star Cinema for the opportunity and the expansion of the film’s promotional reach.
“Thank you [Star Cinema] still can’t believe we have 11 posters in different languages. I mean no words…. just thank you. Maraming salamat po. Can’t wait to show the world what we have prepared for them,” the actress wrote.
Kim’s post also included photos of their movie’s official posters in 11 various languages.
Initially set for a February release, Star Cinema has rescheduled the local premiere of My Love Will Make You Disappear to March 26, 2025, to accommodate “expansion opportunities in the North American market”, as reported by ABS-CBN News.
This will be followed by international screenings in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, and Brunei on March 27. It will then premiere in the United States, Canada, Saipan, Guam, Hong Kong, and Macau on March 28.
Viewers in Italy, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Malta, Finland, and France can watch the film starting March 29, while the Middle East release is set for March 30. The movie will then arrive in Austria on April 5 and in Cambodia on April 18.
Directed by Carlo Victor O. Vidanes, My Love Will Make You Disappear follows Sari (Kim Chiu), who believes she is cursed to make her loved ones disappear, and Jolo (Paulo Avelino), a heartbroken landlord, as they join forces to to confront their fears and consider whether love is worth the risk, even if it might vanish.
This project reunites Kim and Paulo for the second time after their 2023 romance-thriller series “Linlang”, where they starred alongside JM de Guzman. Earlier this year, the two also headlined the Filipino adaptation of the hit K-drama What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim?
