Hunk actor Albie Casiño seemed to have taken a swipe at Andi Eigenmann who is currently facing a controversy with her partner, Philmar Alipayo.
Breakup speculations arose after the Andi and Philmar unfollowed each other on Instagram, which was further fueled by the actress’ cryptic posts.
Eigenmann later expressed her frustration over her husband getting matching tattoos with his “girl best friend”, which she described as a betrayal.
Amidst the said issue, a social media user recently commented on a photo of Andi’s former boyfriend, Albie Casiño, enjoying a date night with his current partner Michelina, stating, “Dodged a bullet with Andi, that’s for sure.”
The actor responded with three consecutive laughing emojis, which many interpreted as a subtle dig at his former flame.
Fans quickly recalled the controversy that nearly derailed Albie’s rising career when Andi previously claimed that he was the father of her first child, Ellie. It was later revealed that Ellie’s biological father was actually Jake Ejercito.
At the height of the issue, Albie was reportedly attacked by Andi’s friends, an incident that her camp denied.
With the current backlash against Andi, many netizens expressed support for Albie, saying he now has the “last laugh” and that the situation is “karma” for the former actress. Some fans also pointed out that Andi has never publicly apologized to Albie for the past controversy.
