Rufa Mae Quinto and husband Trevor Magallanes in the process of divorce

Rufa Mae Quinto’s husband, Trevor Magallanes, has confirmed that their divorce process is currently ongoing.

The revelation came through Trevor’s Instagram Story on Friday, Dec. 13, where he candidly addressed the status of their marriage amidst increasing speculations about their marital status on social media.

According to Trevor, he decided to break his silence due to the heated discussions online about his relationship with Rufa Mae. In his post, he described their marriage as a “sh*t show” and expressed his primary concern: spending time with their daughter, Athena Alexandria.

He wrote: “Hey guys, I felt like I need to explain myself based on social media and all that.

“I want to make myself clear that Rufa Mae and I are in the process of a divorce. You may be aware divorce can be very devastating to the children and also the parents. That being said my marriage has been a sh*t show and I am sorry for that.”

“All that matters me at this time is getting through the divorce as best as I can and spending time with Athena. Happy holidays!” concluded his message.

Rumors of marital issues between Rufa Mae and Trevor have circulated for some time, but the actress-comedienne has downplayed them in interviews.

The timing of the divorce news coincides with Quinto’s recent alleged involvement in an investment scam controversy, which resulted in a warrant of arrest being issued against her.

Rufa Mae and Trevor tied the knot in November 2016 and lived in the United States for several years. They welcomed their daughter, Athena, in February 2017.

As of now, Rufa Mae is reportedly back in the U.S., seeking legal counsel regarding her ongoing case. She nor her camp, however, has issued an official statement about Trevor’s claims or the state of their marriage.
