Anthony Jennings recently confirmed his split with non-showbiz girlfriend Jam Villanueva, saying his on screen partner Maris Racal had nothing to do with their separation.
The actor bared in an interview with entertainment writer Allan Sancon on November 29 that he and Jam already called it quits months ago due to “personal issues.”
Anthony also asked for privacy for Jam’s personal life while admitting his shortcomings in their failed relationship.
“Request ko lang din sa lahat syempre na wag niyo nang guluhin ‘yung tao kasi hindi naman siya artista, pribado ‘yung buhay niya.
“And sa akin naman ‘yun eh, ako ‘yung may pagkukulang ‘dun, problema ko ‘yun. Dapat kong ayusin ‘yun mag-isa.
Jam first sparked breakup speculations with Anthony in October after reposting TikTok contents about dealing with pain after someone’s betrayal and dishonesty.
Anthony also pleaded not to involve Maris, clarifying his real status with the actress amid swirling rumors of third-party involvement.
“Nadadamay si Maris, magkaibigan lang kami…Sana matigil na ‘yung mga ganung issues.
Back in July, Maris announced that she and Rico Blanco broke up after five years of being together. Anthony, at the time, asserted that he is not the cause of the breakup.
