In a recent interview, Can’t Buy Me Love actor Anthony Jennings candidly shared bits about his personal life, shedding light on his romantic relationship and the unwavering support he receives from his loved ones.
Anthony excitedly revealed that he has been in a relationship with his unnamed partner for five years in an interview on the online show Push Bets Live.
“Matagal na kami, five years na kami,” he shared.
The actor opened up about his girlfriend’s role in his life, emphasizing the role she plays in supporting his career.
“Support naman siya sa lahat ng ginagawa ko. Lagi ko naman sinasabi sa kanya, at siyempre communication is the key pa rin talaga,” Anthony remarked.
He mentioned the challenges of working in showbiz and the need to explain the intricacies of the entertainment industry to a partner.
“Kailangan pa rin kausapin, ipaintindi ‘yung line of work mo kasi sa showbiz mahirap intindihin ‘yung trabaho natin. And happy naman ako kasi minsan ka lang din makatagpo ng tao na nakakaintindi ng ginagawa mo,” he added, highlighting the rarity of finding someone who understands the demands of the entertainment world.
Apart from his romantic relationship, Anthony shared that his family has been a pillar of support throughout his career, especially in his tandem with fellow actor and on-screen partner Maris Racal in the hit Kapamilya series.
“Oo sobrang tuwang-tuwa [siya], di lang siya pati ‘yung family ko rin, mga kamag-anak ko, pati ‘yung mga kamag-anak ko rin sa UK,” he expressed, revealing his relatives’ enthusiasm about his current role.
“Nakakatuwa lang din. Nao-overwhelm lang din ako, ‘Snoop,’ tinatawag ka kahit saan kaya masarap sa pakiramdam,” Anthony said, expressing his gratitude for the overwhelming support from fans who even fondly call him by his nickname in the show.
Previously, Anthony also spoke up about the “sapawan” issue between his love team with Maris, “SnoRene”, and co-stars Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano’s “DonBelle” in the show.
