The final five official entries to the 50th edition of the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) have finally been revealed.
The final lineup was announced Tuesday, October 22, in an event once again hosted by Isabel Daza and Jake Ejercito.
The last five films to complete the 10 official MMFF 2024 entries are as follows:
My Future You
Directed by Crisanto Aquino
Cast: Francine Diaz, Seth Fedelin
Genre: Romantic comedy
Synopsis: Two strangers from different timelines are connected by a mysterious comet through a dating app. As they the attempt to change the past to alter their futures, the two face unforeseen consequences.
Uninvited
Directed by: Dan Villegas
Genre: Thriller
Cast: Vilma Santos, Aga Muhlach, Nadine Lustre
Synopsis: A woman seeks vengeance for the murder of her only daughter 10 years ago. Disguised as a socialite, she goes to the birthday party of the billionaire who got away with the crime, and stalks everyone inolved in her daughter’s death.
Topakk

Genre: Action thriller
Synopsis: A security guard who was previously discharged from the military due to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), attempts to save a young woman seeks his protection from a corrupt police death squad.
Hold Me Close

Genre: Romance Fantasy
Synopsis: A man (Woody) meets a woman with psychic ability in which she can foresee whether a person will hurt her or bring her joy. Unfortunately, Woody is deemed as a person who would hurt her inspite of everything going smoothly between them. How would win her heart?
Espantaho
Directed by: Chito S. Roño

Synopsis: A dysfunctional family tries to discover the cause of the gradual disappearances of the person in their town following the death of Pabling.
This year’s MMFF trophy by Filipino-American visual artist Jeffrë was also unveiled.
The Parade of Stars will take place on December 15, while the Movie Premiere week will run from December 15 to 20 and the MMFF Sponsors Night on December 21.
The MMFF’s annual Gabi ng Parangal will commence on December 27 with the theme “Sinesigla sa Singkwenta” for its golden year.
The initial lineup for the 50th Metro Manila Film Festival previously revealed featured the anticipated films of Vice Ganda, Maris Racal, Vic Sotto, and Piolo Pascual.
