Rocco Nacino met several South Korean stars, including OG Descendants of the Sun actor Song Joong Ki.
The Kapuso actor flew to South Korea to represent award-winning director Brillante Mendoza’s “Motherland” or “Bansa” for the Jiseok Category of this year’s Busan International Film Festival.
Sharing bits of his wonderful experience on Instagram, Rocco uploaded his selfie pic with Joong Ki, relating how he had a good five-minute chat with the sought-after K-drama star.
“Met Big Boss himself #SongJongKi and told him about #DOTSPH,” wrote Rocco who played Sgt. Diego Ramos (Master Sergeant Seo Dae-young played by Jin Goo) in the 2020 Philippine adaptation of the hit K-drama series.
“Pinakita ko rin ang posters namin ni @dongdantes @mercadojenny @jascurtissmith at natuwa siya, which led to a long 5 minute chat about DOTS and the PH,” Rocco shared.
He added, “Invite ko daw siya sa pinas paano ko naman gagawin yun haha.”
Rocco went on to share his impression with Joong Ki: “I’d have to say, he is the most warm and accommodating actor of all the actors I talked with. Kind person. Deserve niya blessings niya.”
Aside from Joong Ki, Rocco also met and scored photo ops with other Korean stars including Ji Chang Wook, Yoon Kyung-ho, Im Siwan and Jung Jinyoung of B1A4.
In an Instagram story, the actor also captured a clip of Park Seo Joon just inches away from him.
