2NE1 to hold comeback concert in Manila this November

It’s official, Blackjacks!

Iconic K-pop girl group 2NE1 is bringing their “Welcome Back” concert world tour to the Philippines.

On Friday, their label, YG Entertainment, announced in a social media post that the OG K-pop queens will hold their Manila concert on November 16, 2024, as part of the tour’s Asian leg.

The venue, as well as the ticketing details have yet to be announced.

The announcement came more than a month after YG Entertainment announced the group’s reunion years after their disbandment in November 2016.

Member Sandara Park, a pure South Korean but a Pinay at heart, earlier wished for a Manila stop for their loyal Filipino fans, a.k.a. Blackjacks.

“This is one of my [wishes] syempre,” she said in a post on X back in July.

The world tour will kick off in Seoul this October and will have stops in five other cities in Asia including Jakarta and will push through until 2025.
