‘Para sa red flag enjoyers’: Maki debuts new song in ‘Pinoy Music Carnival’

“Dilaw” hitmaker Maki performed live for the first time his upcoming single “Namumula,” a song intended for the “red flag enjoyers.”

The singer-songwriter debuted his new song, set for release on Friday, August 30, during Power Mac Center’s “Pinoy Music Carnival” last August 25.

“Para sa maga red flag enjoyers,” Maki addressed people who take pleasure in problematic situations despite obvious warning signs, before rocking the stage with the full version of his new song which he has been teasing on his social media pages.

An excerpt from Maki’s song goes: Namumula / Sabi ng utak, Tama na/ Ayaw paawat ng aking na-na-nadarama/ Kahit na-na-na-namumula / Sabi ng puso, “Kaya pa” /Hindi tumitigil kahit pula/ Ikaw pa rin sinta/.

Maki, who’s known for his viral hit “Saan,” is set to conquer the concert stage with his self-titled show for two consecutive days at the New Frontier Theater on November 29 and 30, 2024.
