A father from Quezon City recently went viral on social media after delivering a touching and emotional message to his new son in law.
‘Wag mong paiiyakin kasi sa kanila lang umiikot ang buhay ko,” Daddy Manolito started his speech during his daughter’s wedding last May 25, 2024.
He then continued as he became emotional, “Masakit na may maririnig ako na may umaapi sa kanya.
According to newlyweds Julian Paolo Lizardo and Krizza Mae Matias-Lizardo, they did not expect that Daddy Manolito would deliver such tear-jerking words on their wedding day.
For his part, Julian admitted that he got nervous about what Daddy Manolito would say in the speech.
Recalling the moment before the reception, Krizza said that she was shocked when her father got emotional.
Kaya sobrang nagulat ako,” she shared.
Daddy Manolito said that he couldn’t contain his emotions since Krizza was his first child that got married.
“Wala akong plinanong ganon. Bilang magulang, first-time mong magkaroon ng anak na ikakasal, talagang na-overwhelm,” he noted.
Julian and Krizza both grew up in the same neighborhood. They remained acquaintances ever since, but Julian admitted that Krizza is his long-time crush.
Eight years na kami,” Krizza recalled.
Since Daddy Manolito knew Julian and his family, it wasn’t that hard for him to accept the new man in Krizza’s life.
Maganda ‘yung dating sakin nung bata.
Julian and Krizza got married last May 25, 2024, at Sto. Domingo Parish in Quezon City.
Julian has a promise to Daddy Manolito, “Promise hindi ko lolokohin ‘yung anak n’yo.
