Actress-turned-beauty queen Herlene Budol had netizens laughing with her hilarious motorcycle ride in Rizal.
In her latest Instagram post, Herlene wrote, “rides tayo haha,” as she shared her motorcycle commute via a popular ride-hailing service.
While waiting at a traffic light, Herlene was seen eating an ice cream handed to her by another motorcycle rider, whom she didn’t know. “Sino ‘yon, putang**na,” she exclaimed, referring to the person who gave her the ice cream.
Herlene explained that the last time she used the ride-hailing app was before the pandemic. She also revealed the driver was actually a friend.
“Ang tagal na noong huling angkas ko eh, bago mag-pandemic, tapos tropa ko pa ‘tong nasakyan ko, taga sa amin lang,” she mentioned.
The TV host revealed that she is now in Rizal for work and chose to book the ride to avoid traffic.
She humorously admitted that while she knew the rider was her friend, she had forgotten his name. “Tropa ko ‘to (referring to the rider), ano pangalan mo ulit?” Herlene asked.
She then clarified, “Tropa ko ‘to, pero nakalimutan ko lang pangalan, at friend kami sa Facebook, diba?”
The rider also revealed that they used to hang out at the same “tambayan” after cutting classes.
Herlene then took over driving the motorcycle, turning the driver into the passenger. She quipped, “Para ma-feel niya naman maging pasahero, hindi ‘yung siya ‘yung laging nag-aangkas.”
When they reached Herlene’s drop-off point, she jokingly asked the driver for payment as she continued to act as the driver. Eventually, Herlene paid the driver P150, well beyond her actual fare of 86 pesos.
Herlene rose to prominence as “Hipon Girl” on Willie Revillame’s show “Wowowin.” She recently trended after accidentally falling off the stage during the GMA Gala 2024.
