“Panalo pa rin.”
Former Wowowin co-host Herlene Budol, admittedly got lucky as she had the chance to kiss Kapuso heartthrob Alden Richards during the GMA Gala 2024.
In a recently posted reel on Instagram by Herlene herself, she was seen holding Alden’s hand while talking to the camera about asking consent from the actor to kiss him.
“Heto naka-video na ‘to. Heto si Kuya Alden magpapaalam ako, iki-kiss ko na siya,” Herlene initially said.
She then redirected the video to Alden and asked, “Kuya, pwede i-kiss kita?”
To which the actor gently consented, nudging his cheeks to be kissed by the Kapuso actress.
Budol then kissed Richards on the cheeks, followed by a friendly hug and a bit of conversation on the side.
“Pwedeng pwede na,” Alden said in the video.
Herlene on the other hand exclaimed, “Ang pogi!”
This gesture was seen as friendly from both sides, as Herlene was just trying to score a “kilig” moment with her celebrity crush.
Meanwhile, Alden seemed to not mind.
“Okay lang madapa ako ng maraming beses, basta sa’yo ako babagsak,” Herlene jokingly said in the latter part of the video.
During the same event, Herlene also figured in an onstage mishap where she stumbled, face first on the platform, while she was walking on stage as the artists were being introduced.
Kapuso star Barbie Forteza, who was also present on stage, rushed to help her fellow actress.
