BINI wears Jabbawockeez-inspired outfit after airport look backlash

A clapback to bashers?

At the height of their recent airport controversy, the nation’s girl group, BINI, chose to “deescalate” the situation by poking fun at the issue.

Recently, the girl group was subjected to nasty and harsh comments due to their get-up after wearing masks, shades, and caps during their flight arrival in Cebu. This gained traction resulting in negative comments from some netizens.

In light of the incident, the girls had a rather humorous idea as their clapback to the bashers.

In a recently shared series of photos, members of the P-pop group were seen posing while wearing hoodies, sweatpants, and full-face masks, almost resembling the American hip-hop dance crew, Jabbawockeez, which incidentally is known for having a number of Filipinos among its members.

The photos were taken before a yet another flight for their BINIverse tour in General Santos City.

The members apparently took the time to think about this plan, as their hoodies are even marked with a symbol resembling letter B, which could stand for their group name, BINI.

They also had their fair share of fun sharing it on their respective social media pages. Maloi even captioned her X post, “bhoxczs bini mapagmahal #BINI.”

BINI Sheena said, “luh oa,” in her X repost.

Meanwhile, BINI Mikha simply said “gang” on hers.

And to give another preview, Sheena posted a video in her Instagram story as of writing.

The rest of the members, meanwhile, simply reposted it.
