Faith renewed: Catriona, Dominic, Marco and Christine get baptized at Christian church

Celebrities Catriona Gray, Dominic Roque, Marco Gumabao and Cristine Reyes have taken a significant step in their spiritual journey by renewing their faith through baptism.

Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray shared the joyous occasion on Instagram, posting photos of the baptismal ceremony held at Favor Church, a Christian community in Manila.

In her post, she expressed her gratitude and joy, writing, “A new beginning with Jesus 🙏 Glory to God always.”

“So fulfilled to take the step of publicly declaring my faith today. I was baptized as a baby, but wanted to take this action as an adult. Thank you God for never ceasing in the pursuit of my heart,” Gray shared.

The beauty queen also shared a meaningful Bible verse from Romans 6:4, reflecting on the symbolism of baptism as a renewal and commitment to live a new life through Christ.

“Romans 6:4 For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives,” Catriona wrote.

In a similar celebration of faith, actor Dominic Roque also embraced a new chapter by getting baptized alongside close friends and celebrity couple Marco Gumabao and Cristine Reyes.

Marco shared the experience on Instagram, posting a video of their baptism and expressing how Christ has transformed his life.

“Life here on earth is not perfect, and it will never be the way that we want it to be. But having Jesus at the center of our life changes everything,” he wrote, inspiring many netizens with his testimony.

The actor also took the opportunity to express his support and pride for his friends.

Marco penned a sweet note to Cristine, reflecting the deep connections formed through their shared faith.

“Congrats to us @cristinereyes, this a new step in our Christian life together and I wouldn’t want to have this with anyone else. I love you ❤️😘,” Gumabao wrote to his girlfriend.

In a heartfelt message to Dominic, he wrote, “To @dominicroque, isa sa mga tunay kong kapatid, proud na proud ako sayo! Nandito ako palagi sa tabi mo, and I know God will bless your heart, and I am excited for what’s to come.”
