BINI dedicates performance as ‘gift’ to LGBT community

BINI members expressed their determination and commitment to attend one of the biggest Pride celebrations in the country despite their hectic schedules.

In celebration of Pride Month this June, the “nation’s girl group” BINI is set to perform at one of the highly-anticipated Pride events in the country, which they described as a “gift” to the LGBT community.

The Pride PH’s “LoveLaban2Everyone” Festival 2024″ will be headlined by BINI alongside “Unkabogable Star” Vice Ganda on Saturday, June 22 at the Quezon Memorial Circle, Quezon City. Entrance is free to everyone.

The group’s leader, Jhoanna, described their excitement and commitment for the event despite having packed schedules during an interview with entertainment reporter MJ Felipe on TV Patrol.

“Actually po nagpe-prepare na po kami for concert and hindi na po namin alam saan pa namin isisingit ‘yung mga guestings po, pero tinanong po kami ng management if willing po kaming ituloy ‘to, and kami po mismo nagsabi, ‘yes, go na go po kami for June 22 po, sa Pride Month,’ lalo na ito po ‘yung regalo namin kasi it’s their month,” Jhoanna said.

Expressing deep gratitude and affection for the LGBT community, Jhoanna added, “Mahal na mahal po namin ang community na ‘to. Maraming salamat po.”

The Pride event will also witness the appearances and performances of notable celebrities, bands, and LGBTQIA+ personalities including Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee, Andrea Brillantes, Juan Karlos, Denise Julia, Ice Seguerra, Ben&Ben, Elijah Canlas, Nica del Rosario, and many more.

Content creators Sassa Gurl, Esnyrr, Yani, Macoy Dubs, Pipay, and Adrian Lindayag will also be present alongside Drag queens Marina Summers, Marina Summers, Naia, Deja, Vinas DeLuxe, Bernie, M1ss Jade So, Hana Beshie, and Lady Gagita, among others.

Last Tuesday, BINI celebrated their third anniversary, with the “Happy BINI Day” event together with their dedicated fanbase, Blooms, at One Ayala Mall in Makati City.
