‘Parang nananaginip’: OFW son surprises mom on her wedding day

This mother from Laguna couldn’t help but become emotional after her son based in Australia went home to accompany her to the altar on her wedding day last February 3, 2024.

Mommy Corazon Reolo Mayor, 68, said she was surprised upon seeing her son, Ferric, on her special day.

Her youngest daughter, Flourine, shared how they planned the surprise for her mom.

Flourine said.

Even the groom, Tony, was also involved in the reunion of the mother and son. According to Flourine, she and her siblings went all in in planning the surprise on her mom’s big day.

So ‘yun na lang ‘yung parang alibi namin kay mommy,” she said.

“‘Yung kuya ko nga, sabi nga niya, parang ayaw niya na muna daw kausapin ‘yung mommy namin. Kasi baka daw mamaya mabulgar niya, masabi niya kaagad.

It was Mommy Corazon and Ferric’s first meeting again after eight years since her son has been based in Australia with his whole family.

It was indeed a core memory for Mommy Corazon on her second wedding as her children were complete and happy on the new chapter of her life.

“Lahat sila walang nag-against. Tanggap nila lahat pati ‘yung mga anak din,” she said.

“Full support naman po kaming magkakapatid. Syempre dapat live your life to the fullest lalo syempre ilang taon na si mommy, 68 years old na po. So ayun, go lang kami kung saan siya happy,” Flourine noted when asked about their reaction on her mother’s wedding.
