Actress-singer Maymay Entrata has confirmed that she and her Canadian beau, Aaron Haskell, have parted ways.
The clarification came after speculations arose from her recent social media post about where she shared her Christian baptism on Easter Sunday, March 31.
Included in her IG post were photos of her being baptized and a lengthy caption that mentioned taking a wrong path in the past.
Some had speculated that Maymay’s mention of “I took a wrong path again in 2021” referred to Aaron.
However, in another post on her X account, the Kapamilya actress clarified that the status did not pertain to her former beau but rather talked about her “past trauma”.
Maymay wrote, “Hello po sa lahat, gusto ko lang po mag explain ng konti about dun sa last post ko sa IG. “I took a wrong path again nung 2021” it was my past trauma po. I was hurt and so I hurt other people even the people I love.”
Following this, she confirmed that she and her Canadian partner are no longer together as she asked netizens to “be kind”, especially to people from her past relationship.
“I’m just asking to be kind especially from my past relationship (Aaron). Do not take this against him,” Maymay requested to netizens.
It can be recalled that rumors of their breakup circulated after netizens noticed Maymay’s absence from Aaron’s social media posts.
Furthermore, some eagle-eyed followers noticed that she had unfollowed him on Instagram.
Maymay and Aaron have been together for two years after hard-launching their relationship on Valentine’s Day back in February 2022.
