Ed Sheeran jams with Ben&Ben’s ‘Maybe The Night’ during Manila tour

Fans went wild after Ben&Ben twins, Miguel Benjamin and Paolo Benjamin Guico, shared the stage with English hitmaker Ed Sheeran as they performed Maybe The Night at the SMDC Festival Grounds on Saturday.

“I really really love coming back to Manila, Philippines. What I love doing is discovering local music which is a massive thing for you guys. I just love hearing new stuff. I heard this band, Ben&Ben and I asked them if they would mind coming on stage to sing this song with me. Please make some notice for Paolo and Miguel from Ben&Ben,” Ed Sheeran said on stage as he introduced the Guico twins.

Sheeran and the Guico brothers then serenaded the fans with Maybe The Night, the band’s single released in 2018.

On Instagram, Miguel couldn’t contain his happiness after the once-in-a-lifetime experience with the award-winning singer.

“It felt like a dream. Unreal,” he wrote in an Instagram post along with photos with Sheeran.

The OPM band also performed their songs Sa Susunod na Habang Buhay, Leaves, Kathang Isip, Paninindigan Kita, Pagtingin, and Ride Home during the Sheeran’s concert pre-show.

Before the show, the nine-piece band was spotted singing karaoke with Sheeran and English singer and songwriter Calum Scott.

“Karaoke is a huge thing here in the Philippines, so I found a portable machine to wheel around backstage before the show tonight in Manila. Shout out to @benandbenmusic and @calumscott for bringing the A game,” Sheeran said on Instagram.

Ben&Ben and Calum Scott had a special performance at Sheeran’s “Mathematics Tour” in Manila.
