Sen. Robin Padilla issues apology to Senate officials for wife Mariel viral IV drip session

In a formal letter addressed to Senate officials on Monday, senator Robin Padilla apologized for the recent incident that took place at his office involving his wife, Mariel Padilla.

The official apology came after Mariel drew flak online after posting photos of her seated on her senator husband’s office chair while having her intravenous drip session, flexing the procedure’s convenience.

Senator Padilla sent a letter dated February 26, 2024, addressed to Dr. Renato DG Sison, the director of the Medical and Dental Bureau, and to (Ret) Lt. Gen. Roberto T. Ancan, the sergeant-at-arms of the Senate.

This public apology follows a statement issued by Mariel last Sunday, wherein she apologized to the public and the Senate for the incident at Senator Padilla’s office, The celebrity host also clarified that the drip administered was Vitamin C and not glutathione.
