Fil-Am TikTok content creator Chris Punsalan gets candid with his followers on his grieving journey after his 97-year-old grandma, Anica Santos Manipon, passed away last month.

In an Instagram post on Thursday, Punsalan shared a glimpse of his grandmother’s funeral.

“Her wish was to be buried beside her husband. She was surrounded by people that loved her dearly,” Punsalan said after sharing clips from his grandma’s burial.

“Forever grateful for grandma ” he wrote in an Instagram post.

Punzalan announced his grandmother’s passing on January 30, 2024, in a heartfelt social media post.

“My heart is broken. grandma fought so hard and lived such a fruitful life. i’m relieved that she can finally rest and she’s in better hands than we could’ve ever provided. i love you forever grandma ?” Punzalan said.

Since the death of his grandma, Punsalan has been sharing daily devotional for people who are grieving.

“I pray this reaches the people that need it ??” he captioned.

Back in 2019, the duo started going viral online for their inspiring and cute videos of their daily routine while speaking Kapampangan. Punsalan took care of his grandma for seven years.
