Former hosting duo Kris Aquino, Boy Abunda are happily reunited in US

Kris Aquino took to Instagram to share her heartwarming reunion with longtime friend Boy Abunda.

The “King of Talk” visited Kris in the United States during her extended stay for health reasons.

In her post, Queen of All Media shared how the TV host, whom she called her “other brother,” became emotional when they talked about her medications and treatment for her autoimmune diseases.

“Parang whole 3 hours Boy was here he was stopping himself from crying pero bumigay din sya talaga,” said Kris.

Kris is set to release their impromptu interview made possible by her ex-boyfriend, Batangas Vice Governor and her son Bimby.

“And with my sincerest apology to @km_jessica_soho who is also in town, and had asked if it was possible to give her an interview — it was all impromptu using just my iPhone with @markleviste being our cameraman & bimb asking the questions,” said Kris.

Kris went on to tell how she felt indebted to Boy who was her former manager. The two also previously worked together as a formidable hosting tandem in Aquino and Abunda Tonight, and The Buzz, among others.

“Boy never asked for anything pero sa laki ng utang na loob namin sa kanya, (the entire time he managed me for my endorsements as long as it was with my sons, his commission was only from my 50%, buong buo for my 2 yung talent fee- lug nga ako kasi yung 32-35% na tax sagot ko, bilin yun ng mom) binigay ko ng buong buo yung medyo naputol ng ilang beses na footage.”

She then made an advance greeting for Boy, who is celebrating his birthday on October 29.

“Happy Birthday (Oct 29) to the keeper of all my secrets, the one who assured me that come what may he’ll be there for my sons, and the friend who until now fights my battles with me. To my other brother, I love you completely. #lovelovelove.”
