Maxene Magalona relived a sweet memory with her late dad Francis Magalona in a throwback video when she was young.
On Instagram, Maxene, Francis M’s eldest child with wife Pia Magalona, re-posted a clip of her dad driving while she was on the passenger seat, amused with her dad’s freestyle rapping.
“Rest in peace, papa [face with hearts emoji],” Maxene wrote in the caption as she thanked the netizen who sent her the video originally uploaded by a fan of Francis M on TikTok.
Francis M, regarded as the King of Pinoy Rap or Master Rapper, is known for his hits Kaleidoscope World, Mga Kababayan, Tayo’y Mga Pinoy, and Bagsakan, among others.
He died at the age of 44 in March 2009 after a battle with leukemia.
Maxene’s post came a week after former flight attendant Abegail Rait claimed she had a past relationship with the late rapper icon and that they have a daughter who’s now 15 years old.
Rait’s revelation came out during an episode of Pinoy Pawnstars where she sold Francis M’s personally worn blue jersey for P500,000.
