Roni Domingo was taken by surprise after receiving the warmest welcome from fellow Pinoys during one of his days out in Singapore.
The TV host’s fiancée, Maiqui Pineda, took Instagram stories to share how they were supposed to go to a bakery when they encountered kababayans along the way.
“Hello Madlang People Mabuhay,” Maiqui quipped, alongside photos of Pinoy fans crowding around to snap a photo with Robi.
“They all just started to flock towards him,” she added.
Maiqui also shared a video of the crowd going after Robi who enthusiastically granted photo ops with his fans.
“This was the longest walk just to get to Tiong Bahru Bakery.. And it was all worth it,” said Maiqui in a subsequent Instagram story.
Maiqui, not knowing what to do with the situation, instead, took a selfie with her fiancé being mobbed in the background.
“Bahala ka diyan. Ginusto mo yan,” Maiqui told Robi in jest.
Maiqui went on to share that Robi only made it out after being assisted by a guard.
Robi, meanwhile, took to his Instagram account to share the experience.
“Wanted to get some warm bread at Orchard Road but got something better… a warm welcome from the Pinoys here,” he wrote as caption.
