Actress-host Anne Curtis-Smith shared laughs with netizens after sharing a clip of her 2008 fantasy series Dyosa, with a special appearance of her It’s Showtime bestie, Vice Ganda.
It all started after an X (formerly Twitter) user uploaded a short video of an episode of Anne’s Dyosa where she and Vice appeared together in a scene.
Vice was only starting his career in the entertainment industry at the time and had previously shared about working as an extra in local TV series and movies.

“[V]ice[A]nne core 2008 hahahaahahahaaha @annecurtissmith @vicegandako,” the uploader wrote in the caption.
In Dyosa, Anne played the lead role of Josephine Sinukuan, a woman who was bestowed with magical abilities to transform into three mythical creatures. Meanwhile, Vice was Salaminsim, a servant of the antagonist.
In the clip, Vice appeared to be a character who was at the mercy of the Dyosa’s kingdom.
As Vice succeeded in getting the sympathy of Anne’s Dyosa, he was then told by an elder to stay in the horse stable which prompted the comedian to make horse sounds.
It can be recalled that Vice rose to fame by reenacting horse-like behavior in his gags.
One netizen noticed that both seemed to be on the brink of a laughing fit, “[B]a’t parang nagpipigil sila ng tawa parehas HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!”
“Feeling ko legit ka natatawa ate! HAHAHAHAHAHAA,” a follower commented on Anne’s repost.
“At dahil dyan si Salaminsim ay nabuhay bilang tao, naging unkabogable hurado, ngayon ay meme @vicegandako,” a netizen commented on Vice.
This just shows how Anne and Vice’s journey towards friendship goes way back even before their iconic tandem blossomed in the Kapamilya noontime program It’s Showtime.
