Awra Briguela is back on social media more than a month after she figured in a brawl incident at a bar in Makati last June.
The actress ended her social media hiatus on Wednesday to promote upcoming comedy series Comedy Island which also stars Carlo Aquino, Rufa Mae Quinto, Andrea Brillantes, Jerald Napoles, Cai Cortez, Justine Luzares, Drew Arellano.
“Ready na kami for #ComedylslandPH! August 31, only on Prime Video,” Awra captioned her Instagram and Twitter update showing the series’ poster.
Awra still had her platforms’ comments sections disabled, but fans were happy to welcome her back online.
It can be recalled that Awra faced controversy after getting involved in a scuffle outside a bar in Makati on June 29
The former “Ang Probinsyano ” star who’s McNeal Briguel in real life, faced charges of alarm and scandal, physical injuries, direct assault, and disobedience to a person in authority.
She was released from the Makati Custodial Jail on July 1 after posting bail amounting to P6,000.
