Andrew Schimmer’s son celebrates birthday at mom’s wake

Andrew Schimmer’s son Xander broke netizens’ hearts when he celebrated his ninth birthday at the first wake of his mom Jorhomy “Jho” Rovero.

“I want to see mommy again,” Xander said as his birthday wish in a video uploaded on The Schimmers Youtube channel as blew out the candles on his birthday cake.

The three-minute video also showed Xander talking to his mom in the casket, sharing how his special day went.

“I love you and I miss you, I always wanted to spend time with you, mommy I really want to see you again.

“Mommy, today is my birthday. I went to 7-Eleven for the first time. I helped someone. I gave them noodles because that’s what you wanted.

Xander went on to express his love for his deceased mother in a sweet tone.

“Also, I really miss you, super dearly. Mommy, someday we will see each other again soon. I love you. I love you so much. I miss you super-duper much.

“I love you forever and ever, Mommy. I just wish you were well again and come home…If you are well this wouldn’t happen, but still,  Ireally, really wish that you come home and you are okay,” he added.

“And I really want you to be proud of me and Ate and Daddy. We’ll keep making you proud every single day. Mommy, I love you so much. B-bye na, Mommy,” ANdrew and Jho’s youngest child added.

Jho passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, after almost a year of being confined at the hospital.

Andrew’s partner was first brought to the hospital in November 2021 after suffering severe asthma that led to heart attack and hypoxemia, and eventually went into a coma.

Andrew announced the passing of his wife with a photo of his hand holding his fiancee’s hand while wearing their supposed wedding bands.

In a video posted on his Facebook page, Andrew shared they were supposed to hold Xander’s birthday “salubong” at the hospital, but Jho died at the eve of their son’s birthday.
