CEO versus CEO?
Brilliant Skin CEO Glenda Victorio, known online as “Miss Glenda,” has filed a complaint against fellow social media personality and skincare brand CEO Rosmar Tan.
In a Facebook post, Victorio shared a photo of her with her legal counsel as she filed in the 60-page complaint affidavit multiple cyberlibel case and unjust vexation against Tan at the Quezon City prosecutors office on Monday.
According to a Pilipino Star Ngayon report, Victorio resorted to taking legal action as Tan’s alleged “malicious” and “defamatory” comments against her on social media are damaging her reputation.
“Sa pagiging CEO naman kasi, sanay naman ako na marami talagang bumabangga są akin or marami talaga ‘yung naninira, pero para sa akin na nadamay na ang pamilya ko, lalo na ang mga anak ko, kasi bihira ko nga sila i-post e, hindi ko nga sila ipinapakita for our security tapos dahil lang sa gusto ka nilang pabagsakin or masira, kinakalat nila, so pag-family na dono talaga ako lalaban,” said in an interview with the press.
Victorio also condemned Tan for allegedly making threats and “below the belt” comments against her and her family online.
The former Pinoy Big Brother guest housemate added that she has no idea of the reason behind the online attacks of Tan whom she doesn’t know personally.
“Sa online kasi, base sa mga nababasa ko, feeling niya kasi-pinapataaman siya kahit hindi naman siya pinapataaman, so i think ‘yun ang pinagsimulan niya. Hindi kami magkakilala,” said Victorio.
Victoria’s legal council furthered that the matter eventually taken a toll on Victorio’s mental health, prompting her to take legal action.
Tan, meanwhile, laughed off comments warning her about the cases filed against her.
“Natatawa ako sa mga taong nagsasabi na matakot daw ako sa sa kaso (laughing emoji) Linyahan ng mga walang pambayad ng abogado. Talk to my lawyers,” said Tan in a Facebook post.
She also mentioned filing cases against certain people in another Facebook post.
