‘Strong moms grow strong babies’: Preggy Iza Calzado shows off workout routine

Iza Calzado is one strong gal as she shared the exercises she’s been doing while pregnant with her first baby.

Through a shared Instagram post, the actress’ trainer explained why exercising can help “strong moms grow strong babies.”

“During pregnancy, exercise can help you stay in shape and prepare for labor and delivery. For most pregnant women, at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise is recommended on most, if not all, days of the week,” trainer Culver Padilla said.

Padilla added that he gave the expecting mom safe workouts that would strengthen her body while she is on her pregnancy journey.

Under the post, Calzado expressed how glad she is to be back in the gym.

It was just in August when the 40-year-old announced her first-ever pregnancy on the day of her birthday. On an Instagram post, she shared the milestone was an unexpected miracle.
