Belle Mariano shares honor at Seoul Int’l Drama Awards with Donny Pangillinan

Belle Mariano was definitely glowing when she made history as the first Filipina actress to receive the Outstanding Asian Star award at this year’s International Drama Awards.

The actress bagged the prestigious award in recognition of her performance in hit series He’s Into Her on Thursday in Seoul, Korea.

Belle’s acceptance speech has made fans’ hearts flutter as she gave her onscreen partner Donny Pangilinan a sweet shoutout.

“Of course, to my onscreen partner Donny Pangilinan, it has been an amazing journey with you, here’s to more and I share this honor with you,” she shared.

Donny echoed the same sentiments when he congratulated Belle through an Instagram story.

“This is your day. So proud of you @belle_mariano more to come,” he said.

The 20-year-old also expressed her gratitude for her mom Katrina.

She said: “Lastly, to the woman who molded me to the woman I am today, my mother, thank you so much. I love you.”

Belle is now the fifth Filipino to be honored at the Seoul International Drama Awards. In 2020, actor Dingdong Dantes received the Asian Star Prize, following Alden Richards, Dennis Trillo and Gabby Concepcion.
