Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have tied the knot!

Months after they revealed their engagement in April this year, the 52-year-old On the Floor singer has married Hollywood actor Ben Affleck in a “small” private ceremony over the weekend, as reported by US-based entertainment news outlet People.com.

The celebrity couple obtained their marriage license dated Saturday, July 16, in Clark County in the state of Nevada, as seen on records posted online by the county clerk’s office.

A copy of the said marriage license also revealed that Jennifer plans to use Ben’s last name as her own, as it listed the singer’s new name as “Jennifer Affleck.”

The newlywed bride, meanwhile, shared with fans her excitement, revealing her new name on a latest newsletter sent on Monday, July 18 (Manila time) which has been signed off as: “With love, Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Affleck,” based on another report by People.com.

In a recent Instagram post, Jennifer also showed off her wedding ring in a new photo of herself, where fans, friends, and fellow celebrities took to the comments section to congratulate and extend their well-wishes towards the singer and her husband.

Jennifer and Ben previously began dating in July 2002 and got engaged during the same year in November. The couple, however, postponed their wedding just days before the ceremony on September 2003.

They ultimately called off their engagement in January 2004.

Almost 17 years later, the two rekindled their romantic relationship last year before getting engaged a second time in April 2022.
