Jake Ejercito, daughter Ellie recover from COVID-19

Jake Ejercito and daughter Ellie have recovered after previously contracting COVID-19.

In a recent interview with Star Magic Inside News, Jake revealed that he and Ellie went into quarantine after experiencing mild symptoms.

“No one is safe and we were just here isolated for 10 days. Fortunately enough, mild symptoms lang naman. Si Ellie had a fever for a few days,” shared Jake.

“But sa akin more on sa throat and colds lang. Praise God we’re both okay,” he added.

In a previous Instagram post, Jake uploaded a video montage of what activities his daughter with ex-girlfriend Andi Eigenmann has been into while undergoing isolation.

The actor also got to share how his bond with Ellie has changed over time as she gets older.

“Kapag nandito lang kami sa Manila, nandito lang kami sa bahay, talagang we bond more deeper and now she’s already 10, syempre mas nagiging more meaningful and mas malalim ang conversation which is something I’ve really been enjoying.”

Jake, who launched his acting debut in the Kapamilya series Marry Me, Marry You, is set to star in the The Broken Marriage Vow.

“Feeling ko mas gugulo ‘yung kuwento, mas gugulo rin ang buhay ng mga Ilustre dahil sa character ko,” Jake said about his role.
