Blackpink’s Jisoo, Jennie, Rose negative for COVID-19; Lisa in ‘good condition’

Jisoo, Jennie, and Rosé of Korean girl group Blackpink have tested negative for COVID-19 following Lisa’s positive test result. 

The quartet’s label company YG Entertainment announced the health update in a statement released to South Korean outlets on Thursday. 

“Following their Real Time RT-PCR tests, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, Rosé, and Jennie have received negative confirmed results,” read YG’s statement as translated to English in a report by Soompi. 

YG also revealed that Lisa is in a good condition and currently not experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19. 

Lisa tested positive for the coronavirus on Wednesday, November 24, ahead of her shooting for a video content. 

“All four members of BLACKPINK have been completely vaccinated for COVID-19, and the company and our artists have been paying special attention to our health and safety through regular pre-emptive tests,” added YG. 

“We wish Lisa a quick recovery, and we will continue to earnestly cooperate with the health authorities’ epidemiological investigations and take all possible measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.”

The members recently reunited in South Korea following their solo schedules and projects abroad. 

According to a report by The Korea Herald, South Korea’s daily COVID-19 cases fell to 3,938 on Thursday, a day after hitting an all time-high of 4,115 on Wednesday, November 24.
