It’s official: John Lloyd Cruz makes his “grand return to showbiz” in the Kapuso network.
GMA Network on Tuesday, officially welcomed the 38-year-old actor as the newest Kapuso.
“John Lloyd Cruz is officially back,” wrote GMA Network in a tweet with the trending hashtag #JLConGMA.
A photo of the former prized Kapamilya star’s contract signing with GMA executives was also shared on Instagram.
In a report by GMA News Online, John Lloyd will be working as creative director in the new Kapuso show titled Happy Together alongside director Edgar “Bobot” Mortiz.
Several Kapuso stars such as Dingdong Dantes, Marian Rivera, Bea Alonzo, Alden Richards, and Andrea Torres also sent their welcome greetings for John Lloyd through video messages.
John Lloyd last made his TV appearance on GMA Shopee TV special show after almost four years of being in a hiatus since 2017.
