Ogie Diaz entertained by funny Hidilyn Diaz-related memes

Ogie Diaz couldn’t help but laugh off circulating memes relating him to Olympic gold medalist Hidilyn Diaz.

The comedian and talent manager on Monday took to Facebook to send his well wishes to the 30-year-old for winning the elusive gold medal in the Tokyo Olympics.

Calling Hidilyn his younger sibling because of their identical surnames, Ogie wrote: “Congrats, Bunso Hidilyn! Ikaw ang magandang balita ngayong araw.”

Hilarious memes have since sprouted online which Ogie gladly shared on Facebook.

Viral din,” Ogie said pertaining to an edited photo of him lifting the barbell.

Ogie even commended those who produced memes to somehow bring laughter to people amid the difficult time.

“Hahahaha!

Up until late Tuesday, Ogie jokingly thanked those who have sent their congratulatory messages to him and Hidilyn.

“Sobrang dami pa rin ang bumabati sa amin ni bunso Hidilyn, kaya on behalf of our Mommy Buenas, thank you very much po,” he said.

Hidilyn returned to the country on Wednesday, two days after her historic win in the Olympics.
