Carmina Villarroel and Zoren Legaspi turned emotional as they sent their son Mavy off to the I Left My Heart in Sorsogon lock-in taping.

On Instagram, Carmina uploaded a series of photos and videos in which she was seen crying as she bid goodbye to her son.

“All grown up. Time for you to spread your wings my forever baby boy,” she wrote in the caption yesterday, July 12. “Always remember that we are here for you and we are all proud of you!”

The mother revealed that it is the first time her son Mavy will be away from them.

On the same day, Zoren shared photos of him and Mavy hugging while his son was seen wiping his tears in the first photo.

“It’s hard to let this guy go to spread his wings…come back with a wider and longer wingspan,” he wrote.

He also reminded Mavy to always pray at night and as soon as his son woke up.

Carmina and Zoren were both looking forward to Mavy’s acting career as he embarked on his first acting project.

Mavy joins the drama series I Left my Heart in Sorsogon, which stars Heart Evangelista, Richard Yap, and Paolo Contis.
