Pokwang has officially joined the Kapuso network.
The GMA Network on Friday welcomed the comedienne-actress and host, sharing a photo of Pokwang from her virtual signing event.
“It’s official! #WelcomeKapusongPokwang! ? Keep shining ?,” wrote GMA Network in an Instagram post.
“That’s what I really wanted to do, to go back to comedy,” Pokwang was quoted as saying in a GMA report, stating that she’s set to star in the new season of Pepito Manaloto.
She added, “I’m very happy that what I expected actually came true.”
Pokwang is also expected to take part in the Kapuso drama anthology Wish Ko Lang in July.
Following the shutdown of former home network ABS-CBN, Pokwang made her transfer to TV5 in July 2020, and later became co-host of the now-defunct talk show Chika Besh.
