‘Magaling na ako’: Ate Gay thankful for surviving battle with pneumonia

Gil Morales, better known as Ate Gay, has won his battle with pneumonia.

On a social media post, the actor-comedian shared a video of him singing Adele’s ballad All I Can Ask.

For his caption, he happily shared that he has already recovered.

“Magaling na ako. Thank you Jesus,” he wrote.

Under his post, celebrities such as Ogie Alcasid, K Brosas and Arnold Clavio responded with well wishes.

On his Facebook account, the stand-up comic shared how he endured eating once again to live.

“Isa ito sa tiniis ko… Na nalampasan ko… tiniis kong kumain para mabuhay. Salamat sa lugaw, champorado, sopas na bumuhay sa akin ng 20 days. Maraming salamat Lord,” he wrote.

In another post, he showed how his skin has already started healing.

“Nagpagaling, nagpapalakas. Tiniis ko dahil sa kagustuhan kong mabuhay. Sabi ng doktor, pangalawang buhay ko na daw ito. Buti daw at ginusto kong gumaling,” he wrote.

Back in March, it was reported that Ate Gay was hospitalized after he was diagnosed with pneumonia.
