Bea Alonzo reflects on how everything in life is ‘fleeting’

As the country marked its second Palm Sunday on lockdown, Bea Alonzo encouraged her followers on social media to reflect on life once again.

The actress explained on her social media post that she has had close friends who were infected by the COVID-19 virus.

“Recently, I’ve had close friends and loved ones infected by COVID; I’d talk to them almost every day, as if holding their hands on this journey, only virtually,” she wrote.

The 33-year-old shared that while she already knew this virus was “scary”, she has never realized how short life is now that people close to her are affected by the pandemic.

“I mean, I knew this virus is scary, but I’ve never been slapped in the face by the fact that everything in life is fleeting and life is indeed on short.

“So, if you can, hug your loved ones now and tell them that you love them,” she said.

In these tough times, Bea also reminded her followers on Instagram to let their faith be their armor.

“We’ll never go back to this moment, live it, learn from it, make the best of it. Stay safe everyone,” she ended.

On Monday, Metro Manila, Laguna, Cavite, Bulacan and Rizal were place under enhanced community quarantine to control the surge of COVID-19 cases, which experts have attributed to the presence of new variants.
